1. Our service
Equating Assist Uganda helps you apply to the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) to have foreign results equated. We read your documents, translate them if you choose translation, and fill in and submit the application on UNEB's official portal for you. We are an independent service. We are not UNEB and are not affiliated with it.
2. What we do not control
- UNEB makes every equating decision. We cannot promise any particular result, grade equivalence, or decision time.
- Admission to schools and universities is decided by each institution.
- Our translations are English working translations to help with your application. If an office requires a certified or sworn translation, you must get one separately.
3. Fees
- Our fees are shown on the site before you pay: Equating UGX 50,000, Equating + translation UGX 70,000, Translation only UGX 50,000. Each application is paid for separately.
- Our fee covers our service only. UNEB's own equating fee is separate and is paid only when UNEB asks you to.
- Your account is unlocked once we confirm your payment. You can download a receipt from your account.
- Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
4. Your responsibilities
- Give true, complete information and upload genuine documents that belong to you. Submitting false or altered documents may be a crime, and we will close the account.
- Check the details we read from your documents before you confirm. You are responsible for confirming they are correct.
- Keep your password private, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- Answer UNEB's or our requests for more information in good time; delays on your side can delay your application.
5. Your documents and data
You keep ownership of your documents. You allow us to use them only to provide this service, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
6. Availability
We work to keep the service running at all times, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or because of problems outside our control, including problems with UNEB's portal.
7. Limits of our responsibility
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for UNEB's decisions, for delays or errors caused by UNEB or other third parties, or for losses caused by wrong information you gave us. If something goes wrong because of our mistake, our responsibility is limited to the fee you paid us for that application. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Ugandan law.
8. Closing an account
You can ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by using false documents or attempting to misuse the system.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda.
